Our Hosts:

In a former life I was an educator and high school principal — that never left me. I just traded classrooms for closing tables and recording studios. In 2017, my wife Anne and I co-founded Windermere Abode in Tacoma, WA and built it into an award-winning brokerage — recognized by South Sound Business as Best Residential Real Estate Company, featured in the New York Times and Seattle Times, named a Fair Housing Champion by the National Association of Realtors, and honored as Inman Person of the Year in 2020.
I built the Brick by Brick platform to serve athletes, creatives, and anyone with non-traditional income from non-traditional backgrounds. From teaching Financial Algebra to high school students, to being around athletes and creatives at every level, to moving into real estate — I kept seeing the same gap. Our athletes and creatives are building wealth, but nobody’s having the real conversations with them about finances and investing. These are the conversations I wish somebody had with me coming up.

“Born and raised in the Tacoma. I was a Collegiate Basketball Player at The Evergreen State College, studying Business. After my college career, I went on to play professionally in China. After multiple injuries, I decided to end my career and focus on my family and starting a business. I’ve always had a great passion for helping and connecting with people.
In 2020, I and my wife opened Dam Performance Cryotherapy & Recovery in University Place. I now get to continue to help and connect with people through real estate. I have a love for health and wellness, traveling, basketball, crossfit and Cryotherapy. When I’m not working with clients I’m spending time with my wife and two kids.”
